According to data from the Bureau of Animal Industry, Philippine pork imports decreased by 30% in October. Imports for the month totaled 45,604 tonnes, compared to the 61,927 tonnes imported in October 2022.

Cumulative pork imports from January to October reached 504,308 t, representing a 19% decrease compared to the same period in 2022.
